Knowsley
Support for victim-survivors in Knowsley is provided by the First Step.
The First Step are a specialist domestic abuse agency providing support for people who are victims/survivors of domestic abuse. Their specialist domestic abuse workers offer emotional and practical support to victims and survivors of domestic abuse. They offer one-to-one, telephone and group support.

Liverpool
If you live in Liverpool and have experienced domestic abuse, there are a number of different services on hand to offer support.
LDAS (Liverpool Domestic Abuse Service) provide advice, information and support to women suffering domestic abuse to help them stay safe and live free from fear.

Merseyside Domestic Violence Services (MDVS) provide a free, confidential, non-judgemental educational, advice and support service for women, families and young people whose lives have been affected in some way by the issues related to Domestic abuse, sexual violence, coercive control and abuse.

Sefton
If you live in Sefton, please find two support services that can help below.
Sefton IDVA (Independent Domestic Violence Advisor) Team who support high risk victims of domestic abuse.
Individuals can contact the service for support themselves or they can be referred via an agency professional.

SWACA (Safety Wellbeing and Challenging Abuse) provide holistic services to women, young people and children affected by Domestic Abuse offering both effective crisis intervention and early intervention and preventative services.

Chrysalis Centre offer a variety of support services, from group sessions to one-to-one counselling, confidence and assertion skills, and practical support and advice.

Torus (Safe to Speak) – offers support to any resident of St Helens affected by domestic abuse. The service is free, confidential, supportive, informative, non-judgmental and available to anyone experiencing domestic abuse of any kind: sexual, physical, emotional or financial.

Wirral
There are three specialist services providing support on the Wirral.
Wirral Family Safety Unit - Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) Service - provide support to victims and their families who are experiencing domestic abuse. They provide support for people experiencing or at risk from harmful practices; honour based abuse and forced marriage.

Involve NW (previously The Lighthouse Centre) is the only specialist domestic abuse service on Wirral for women and children who have suffered or are suffering from domestic abuse.

The Paul Lavelle Foundation is a charity set up to raise awareness of domestic abuse towards men. Their service is focused on recovery and is designed to provide a person-centred blend of therapeutic, advocacy, advice and link-Worker/signposting support activities.
